Mufida is the loving mother of two beautiful children, a 4 year old named Habiba and a 1 year old named Abdulrahman. After trying to conceive for many years, she was overjoyed to finally become pregnant. But both of her children were born into lives of suffering. Shortly after her first baby’s birth, Habiba had to travel for open-heart surgery to save her baby’s life. Not long after undergoing surgery, the genocide began in Gaza. She fought to keep Habiba alive, and luckily she has survived thus far.
